Hervey Bay RSL Pipe Band

Established in 1999 through the efforts of the Hervey Bay RSL Sub Branch and a group of dedicated residents, the Hervey Bay RSL Pipe Band wears the Black Stewart Tartan and draws its members from Hervey Bay, Maryborough and surrounding districts.

The band has a full calendar of events every year including:

  • Anzac Day services
  • Supporting visiting entertainers at the Brolga Theatre in Maryborough
  • Performing at shows, fairs and festivals including the Hervey Bay Whale Festival, the Rotary Living Expo and the Fraser Coast Multi-cultural Festival
  • Performing at charity and fund raising events such as the Mobility Scooter Ride, Cancer Relay for Life and Seniors Week

Individual members of the pipe band also regularly perform at weddings, funerals and other social events throughout the region.

Band Practice

Practice is held every Monday evening from 7.00pm in the assembly hall at Yarrilee Primary School, Scrub Hill Road, Yarrilee, Hervey Bay.

Visitors are always welcome.
